Love Solidarity Death (L.S.D.): The Book

“Love Solidarity Death (L.S.D.): The Book” is a publication that captures the process that led to the titular exhibition by The Callas, gathering a bounty of photographic material, sketches and project notes, links from the exhibition’s documentation video, discussions, and texts by all those who got entangled into the diverse universe of the Ionas brothers: Nadja Argyropoulou, Afroditi Panagiotakou, Myriam Ben Salah, Ian F. Svenonius, Paul Artrocker, and Jim Sclavunos.

The Velvet Room Projects-released publication, with the support of Onassis Stegi, is a headlong dive into the universe of The Callas, performing an exploration of their artistic, musical, and film body of work, traversing the array of their influences and references to notions such as companionship, D.I.Y., collectivity, ceaseless creativity, the essence of need, and friendship.
